Superintendent's barred visitors case files, <1982>-[ongoing].

The Massachusetts Correctional Institution, Framingham, houses females sentenced to imprisonment, awaiting trial, or committed by the courts for alcohol or substance abuse treatment (MGLA c 125, s 16; c 123, s 35). The superintendent is responsible for administering the facility, including screening visitors who wish to visit inmates or conduct business within the facility. Barred visitors case files are created to deny entrance to visitors whose presence may have a negative effect on an inmate's rehabilitation or the operation or security of the facility.
